The Memphis Ghost Cats Basketball Club was founded in 2025 on the idea of development rather than expousre. What does that mean? It means that we will travel, and we will be seen; however, OUR JOB AND GOAL IS TO DEVELOP YOUR ATHLETE FOR THE NEXT LEVEL! GCB is focused on and dedicated to maturing and developing our athletes' games. What is your work ethic like? Do you make the extra pass? Do you take good shots? Do you sit in a stance on defense? Are you a team player? Do you have good sportsmanship? THESE are the questions that coaches want answered at the next level. "What was your ranking your 7th grade season?" NEVER comes up! At GCB, we teach athletes to control what THEY can control. You cannot control who sees you. What can you control? How hard you work, how disciplined you are, and your effort on both sides of the court. This is our focus. Exposure is a welcomed byproduct of our hard work. We will travel, play in High-Level Exposure events, and face elite competition - but what good will that do if we are overmatched each time we touch the floor? It won't do any good at all! That is why we focus on skill development at an elite level. We drill hard. We practice hard. We play hard. We play fast. We play right. We win. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that?!
